Visitors to this month’s Dales Festival of Food and Drink will be full of beans after visiting craft chocolate maker, Full of It.
The Barnsley-based company will be selling its own range of handmade single origin chocolate, as well as cacao nibs, cacao powder and newly launched chocolate making kits for beginners. The kits include cacao butter, cacao powder and a recipe card to help novice chocolate makers get productive in their kitchens.
Sara Snelling, chocolate maker at Full of it, comments: “There is nothing as nice as the smell of homemade chocolate wafting through the house. The beauty of making it yourself is you can decide how sweet to make it and what sweetener to use, as well as adding in additional ingredients of your choice.”
New cacao based recipes will be added to the Full of it website at www.foit.co.uk after the festival to help customers use their nibs, powder and cacao butter products.
The Dales Festival of Food and Drink takes place on 18th and 19th June in the centre of Leyburn.
Leyburn has a host of food and gift shops, hotels, public houses and restaurants. Visit them and buy something special, have lunch, a snack or a cup of tea. Even better stay for the evening and enjoy the entertainment and hospitality.
Look out for the sign in the Market Square which says Grand Draw, purchase a ticket and try your luck at winning the first prize of £200 or the second prise of £100. The prizes will be drawn at 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
